The Spotify streaming service allows you to listen to your favorite songs even without an active internet connection if you use the premium version. This works by simply downloading these from your Spotify app. Your music will then be saved on your device. But if you want to get rid of the downloads in order to gain some new storage space, simply follow our instructions.

How to delete Spotify downloads


Open the Spotify app on your computer. You will now see your playlists on the left. Is a green Arrow next to it, it means that this playlist has been downloaded. To delete the downloads, select the playlist and click on the top right Slider. All the songs on your list will then be removed from your device. If you only remove a certain song from your downloaded playlist, it will also be automatically removed from your downloads.

Delete playlists from the smartphone
