What is a test 1

Just testing

The supervision of the students while the self-tests are being carried out is part of the teaching staff's duty of supervision. This is an obligation in the context of the service or employment relationship, so that you are not fundamentally allowed to refuse supervision. This applies to civil servants and salaried teachers alike.

After consulting with experts from the Hygiene Advisory Board and the health authorities, it is not necessary to wear additional protective clothing in addition to the masks if the otherwise applicable hygiene rules are observed. Wearing an FFP2 mask and keeping the necessary distance is indicated.

The pupils only remove their mask for the actual smear in the front nasal area (for 15 seconds per nostril). After taking the smear, put the mask back on immediately.

To ensure the safety of the pupils, only self-tests that have been checked by the Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI) and are on the list of the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM) are used. In addition, the pupils are supervised while carrying out the self-test.

In rare cases, skin contact with buffer or test liquid does not pose a health risk. The affected part of the body should be rinsed off with water. Medical advice should be sought if irritation occurs.
