In addition to the novel "Effi Briest", the poem "Herr von Ribbeck auf Ribbeck im Havelland" is particularly remembered by many students - because they had to learn it by heart.A particularly beautiful illustrated version, spoken by the actor Otto Sander, can be found on youtube.
