Underrated albums

Well then fight hard. What excites me about Empath are the many twists and turns and surprises. Musically speaking. No off-the-shelf album.

I have so far my concern with Devin... got it over then Steve Vai (Sex & Religion)met and found it strange ...
I'll get his first solo album, it is one of the few that I gave away ...

now I start the experiment and watch / listen to it LIVE ... if it goes in the "pants" at least the consolation is the opening act (hook) ... and a joint concert with Echoes, who is traveling to Berlin especially for this ...
if it convinces me (sometimes you need the LIVEKick first ) I'll get it there on site ...

I also hold The Astonishing underrated by Dream Theater for. Somehow everyone says that this is a lot of crap, but I think it has its qualities. In my opinion, it stands out positively from the other late works of the band, the after Octavarium but more and more let the tinkering become an end in itself. There are better Epic Prog - for example from Ayreon - but at least it was an attempt to recreate your own music sense to give. There are actually only two weaknesses that the album has. On the one hand, some motifs are used quite often, on the other hand, it would have clearly won if this had been implemented with distributed roles and guest singers. But it was at least a worthy attempt to give the band a new direction.

you are honored to speak for the album ...
and yet I think it's overrated, especially by the band (or Mr. Petrucci) themselves ...
however loses Distance... also more and more substance .... (or is this due to my disappointment regarding Scenes of ... not in Berlin ... !! ??)

I would be undervalued by Fates Warning-> FWXsee ... not all fans liked it, because "too soft" ... I think it's very nice ...

.. and already mentioned by someone else here ... Judas Priest-> One for the Road.... I think this album is very successful, it's a shame that they didn't make more of it ...
Sad Wings of Destinyis already the first step to metal, even if very successful and full of ideas ...

and here in the forum is the band -> Avenged Sevenfoldtotally undervalued ....
