Why is my right breast getting bigger

Why is the right breast suddenly bigger?

Hello,

In spring (April) I noticed for the first time that my right breast had become significantly larger than the left one. At about the same time, my cycle also changed. My previously very heavy menstruation was now very weak.

I went to the gynecologist who said that menstrual changes were normal at my age (almost 26). Fortunately, she couldn't feel anything unusual on the chest and blamed the change on the fact that I was under a lot of stress at the time and had also lost some weight (from 55 to 50 kg).

But two weeks ago I went to another FÄ for a check-up. During the palpation examination, she said that the breasts feel very different - the larger one is firm, the smaller one hangs down more limply. I should keep watching, but she didn't feel anything or anything.

But that already unsettles me. I mean, I've been observing the difference in size for months, and if I now stare at my breasts all the time, it just drives me crazy. The FÄ couldn't tell me what exactly to watch out for. The only thing that struck me is that the right breast hurts more before the menstruation and the difference between the two then increases again.

Can such a size difference at my age really simply come about through stress or a slight weight loss? How can it be that the breasts feel so different now if they weren't before?
I had several exhaustive blood tests lately because of another matter (suspected rheumatism), but nothing was abnormal.

Thank you for your reponse

Hello,

"my right breast has become significantly larger than the left ... cycle changed. My previously very heavy menstruation was only very weak ... stress ... had decreased (from 55 to 50 kg) ... gynecologist said that Menstrual changes are normal at my age (almost 26). "
The hormonal control loops can indeed change in phases, e.g. with stress or weight changes (after all, you have lost almost 10% of your body weight, that's quite a lot), which can then also be reflected in lateral differences in the breast, which is hormone-dependent Tissue.

"But two weeks ago I went to another FÄ for a check-up."
Doctors don't have to go shopping; any gynecologist can diagnose serious illnesses.

"Breasts would feel very different - the larger one is firm, the smaller one hangs down more limply."
also occurs in many healthy people (breasts of different sizes).

"The FÄ couldn't tell me what exactly to watch out for."
she probably thought of further increases in size. There is no need for targeted anxious self-control, you would automatically notice significant increases in everyday life.

"The only thing that struck me is that the right breast hurts more before the menstruation and the difference between the two increases again."
sounds normal.
