But you shouldn't let China play you off against the Americans too much.

It could be the same for us, even if basically only certain virtues such as diligence etc. pay off here for Airbus.

Of course, Airbus has to accept these orders, anything else would be crazy.

But any compromise that shows that we stand behind the USA with regard to China would not be bad, e.g. final assembly in US FAL or something.

For the Chinese, doing business with Boeing on a global scale is dispensable. "...

I think so too, but the other way around, Boeing has a real problem when China blocks.
But Airbus will not be able to use or fill this gap on its own, this will perhaps be an opportunity for Comac?

I firmly count on it, because a Boeing ban would be the right return vehicle for the US sanctions against Huawai and ZTE.

One must not forget: The sanctions were imposed by Trump, but the new administration kept them ... so the Chinese have every reason to cause problems for a large US company.

You don't have a lot of other opportunities either. For example, if you were to ban Apple, which is produced in China, you would shoot yourself in the leg. But Boeing ... which only have a bad narrow-body aircraft, although you still have Comac and, if necessary, the Airbus assembled in your own country or Irkut as a replacement - is a very good sacrifice.

I feel the same way. Just as Huawei is just a pawn on the field for the Americans, it is Boeing for the Chinese. For the Chinese, doing business with Boeing on a global scale is dispensable.

Boeing is currently lobbying the American government for the Chinese. What more do you want.
